Itanagar is the Capital of the State of Arunachal Pradesh. Itanagar is situated at the foot Hills of Himalayas. Itanagar was also identified as Mayapur, the capital of the 11th century Jitri dynasty and there is a fort dating back to the 14th or 15th century which is believed to have been built by King Ramachandra.
