Tourist Attraction in or Near by Magnetic Island

Sea kayak

A sea kayak or touring kayak is a kayak developed for the sport of paddling on open waters of lakes, bays, and the ocean. Sea kayaks are seaworthy small boats with a covered deck and the ability to incorporate a spraydeck. They trade off the maneuverability of whitewater kayaks for higher cruising speed, cargo capacity, ease of straight line paddling, and comfort for long journeys. Sea kayaks are used around the world for marine journeys from a few hours to many weeks, as they can accommodate one to three paddlers together with room for camping gear, food, water, and other supplies. A sea kayak usually ranges anywhere from 10 18 feet for solo craft, and up to 26 feet for tandem craft.

Saltwater Crocodile

The saltwater crocodile also known as the estuarine or Indo Pacific crocodile, is the largest of all living reptiles. It is found in suitable habitats from Northern Australia through Southeast Asia to the eastern coast of India. The saltwater crocodile has a longer muzzle than the mugger crocodile its length is twice its width at the base. The saltwater crocodile has fewer armor plates on its neck than other crocodilians, and its broad body contrasts with that of most other lean crocodiles, leading to early unverified assumptions the reptile was an alligator.

Beach Rides at Horseshoe Bay

Horseshoe Bay is a village on Magnetic Island, Queensland, Australia. It is considered the tourist strip of the island. From September 2006, Horseshoe Bay was undergoing a string of housing development behind the existing residential area to the southern part of the bay. It is also a major accommodation and recreation centre of Magnetic Island. At the 2006 census, Horseshoe Bay had a population of 484. The horses love swimming, and the experience of riding bareback along the beach and then swimming on horseback is awesome, it's a good idea to have a friend meet you at the beach with a towel and a camera.
