ntroduction to the treks: Harkidun or Har-Ki-Dun lies in the Western Garhwal Himalayas in the border district of Uttarkashi of Indian Himalayas. The trek to Har-ki-dun passes through dense forests, waterfalls, bugyals overlooking the majestic peaks of Banderpunch, Swargarohini and Kala nag, looming high at very close quarters. Jaunadhar glacier lies at the south-east of Har-ki-Dun. The surrounding forest is rich in wild life & exotic birds.
