| Rajaji National Park is spread across three districts of Uttaranchal - Haridwar, Dehradun and Pauri Garhwal. The park covers an area of 820 sq km and is located at the foot of the Himalayas. |
Dense green forests and a wide variety of animals and birds species inhabit Rajaji National Park. The park has 23 species of mammals that include tigers, leopards, elephants, deer, jungle cats, wild boar, sloth beer, etc. There are around 315 species of birds that inhabit at Rajaji National Park. Besides the wide Indian species, there are a large number of migratory birds that can also be seen at Rajaji National Park.

Rajaji National Park is easily accessible. The park is at a distance of about 231 km from Delhi and there are overnight trains to Dehradun or Haridwar, from where you can easily get a connecting bus or taxi. Dehradun is also the nearest airport to the National Park. Rajaji is also easily reachable by road from the major cities of the country.
