Opera House in Manaus

The Amazonas Opera House has 700 seats. The Amazon Opera House is one of the most important monuments left by the exhilarating rubber boom period. It was preserved as a national partimony in 1965, and will celebrate its centenary in 1996, in perfect condition after a thorough renovation that left it in its original colors and details.The Manaus Opera House remains an integral part of Manus Brazil history. The Amazonas Film Festival makes an annual appearance at the Manaus Opera House, drawing in film critics and independent directors from all over the country. Negra Beach Dazzling Nightlife

The zone of Ponta Negra is the richest of the city. It will be the only option for the next months, while the fences of the works of the New Ponta Negra prevent the view of the river from the boardwalk. This 20-store building was recently built as an annex to the Tropical Hotel, but now is operated independently by Park Suites. Right in the ground floor, following the signs, you reach the recreation area. A spectacular view takes the visitor by coming across an infinite pool, whose water spills around the edges and causes the impression that the pool and the Rio Negro are one.

Jau National Park

The Jau National Park is the largest National Park in Brazil. During the rainy season we go by canoe to the Aturiá lake, where one can watch many tank fish in the crystal-clear water. You can also travel to the Parque Nacional do Jau on road by covering a distance of 80 kilometers. The National Park of Jau is the largest park of Brazil and perhaps the largest park in the world in terms of humid tropical forest. Parque Nacional do Jau, Manaus is located in the municipalities of New Day and Barcelos that is 220 kilometers from Manaus city.

Amazon Rainforests

The Amazon Rainforests there are biggest Jungle in the world. The Amazon Rainforests likely formed during the Eocene era. It appeared following a global reduction of tropical temperatures when the Atlantic Ocean had widened sufficiently to provide a warm, moist climate to the Amazon basin. The rain forest has been in existence for at least 55 million years, and most of the region remained free of savanna-type biomes at least until the current ice age, when the climate was drier and savanna more widespread.
